Qualified with Jones Lang La Salle and spent 11 very enjoyable years with the company. Overall, the majority of time was based in Fund Management, but also had stints in Valuation, Auction and even 2 years working on the Leasing of Canary Wharf during construction.

Left in JLL in 1997 to join Hermes REIM. Started as an Investment Surveyor, and finished as a Fund Manager specialising in the Retail Sector. Worked on projects such as the Office Redevelopment of Wellington Place , Leeds. The complete redevelopment of Birstall Retail Park and Shopping Centres, such as The Marlands , Southampton and The Centre :MK.

Joined St James Securities in 2004 to set up a London Office. Worked on the procurement of Mixed Use OJEU projects such as Granville Sq, Swindon, Tudor Arcade, Dorchester and The Riverside, Trowbridge. Set up a Joint Venture with Bank of Scotland, and as a Director of the JV helped to run 5 secured projects.
