In today’s occupier led market , the key more than ever, is to meet the specific operational needs of existing and prospective tenants. By example in one instance the operator of a city centre MSCP lacked the capital required to update the car park and maintain a competitive offer. We were able to negotiate a surrender of a lease in tandem with the grant of a new extended lease to a replacement operator. Capital was provided for a major upgrade with a higher rent negotiated subject to RPI increases.
